American soprano Nadine Sierra is considered one of the most talented opera singers of our time. In 2017, she was won the Richard Tucker Award while in 2018, the New York Metropolitan Opera presented her with the Beverly Sills Artist Award. By then, Nadine had made an absolutely sensational debut at the New York Metropolitan Opera in one of her signature roles: “Nadine Sierra charmed everyone with her Gilda in Rigoletto” (New York Classical Review, 3rd December 2015). After a series of successful debuts at La Scala in Milan, the Paris National Opera and the Berlin State Opera, Nadine has become a regular guest artist on many of the world's leading stages. In 2018, the Deutsche Grammophon/Universal Music label released her debut album, There's a Place for Us, while her second album Made For Opera followed in 2022.
She started the 2024/25 season with a debut at the Vienna State Opera as Juliette opposite Roméo of Benjamin Bernheim ((Roméo et Juliette), she reprised the role of Gilda at the Metropolitan Opera (Rigoletto) and will return to the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona several times as Violetta (La traviata), Amina (La Sonnambula) and Maria (West Side Story). She will also appear at the Teatro Real in Madrid as Violetta, at the Paris National Opera as Manon and at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples as Juliette.
She made her Prague debut at the invitation of the Nachtigall Artists on 3rd December 2018, and returned for a joint concert with another great soprano Pretty Yende on 1st March 2023, which was enthusiastically praised by audiences and critics: "Temperament, wit and professional partnership" (Opera plus).
