From the beginning of the Prague Proms festival, it has been a key goal of ours to always meet our audience’s expectations. We’ve always strived to listen to their wishes and try to offer a selection of performers not only within classical music, but from a variety of genres such as jazz and crossover.

This evening, we’ve prepared an extraordinary program. One hundred performers from the renowned American gospel choir Jeremy Winston Chorale will come to Prague and perform in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House. The concert will highlight all one hundred unique performers whose incredible vocal skills and enthusiasm have brought them to the very height of their fields. The vocalists will be accompanied by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. We assure you that this program will be unmissable; the audience will hear part of the choir’s wide repertoire featuring pieces from gospel, black spirituals and classical music.

The founder and artistic director of the choir is Jeremy Winston, originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Winston is a sought-after vocal teacher and holder of the John F. Kennedy Medal. He is the creator of this unique program, organised specifically for the Prague Proms festival, and he will personally conduct the orchestra and choir.
