The world-famous Czech pianist Lukáš Vondráček will perform Johannes Brahms' Second Concerto at the end of the Prague Symphony's jubilee season. For his last subscription programme as chief conductor, Tomáš Brauner has also chosen Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances. It is no coincidence that Rachmaninoff's last great work is one in which all his musical, and therefore life, themes meet.
