The world-renowned Czech pianist Lukáš Vondráček has already performed the complete Rachmaninov concertos in Prague and this season he will focus on the Johannes Brahms concertos with the Prague Symphony Orchestra. Also the symphonies of Bohuslav Martinů belong to PSO together with Tomas Brauner. This time it will be the Fifth, which was written about after its premiere in 1947: "If this music in its vehemence, colour and power is representative of the way Bohuslav Martinů's countrymen feel, then this country will have the energy to recover quickly".
